Psalms 3 - Count Your Enemies and Know Their Lies

Psalms 3:1-4
1 O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me;
2 many are saying of my soul, โ€œThere is no salvation for him in God.โ€ Selah
3 But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
4 I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill.

Count Your Enemies:
1. Your flesh
2. The influence of the world
3. The Great Accuser and Liar

What are the lies of the enemy when men struggle with ?
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป You donโ€™t love God
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป You canโ€™t trust God with your problems
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป God is tired of forgiving you for this
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป Youโ€™re a huge disappointment to Him
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป God is angry at youโ€ฆHe stopped loving you
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป He is going to punish you

But what are the promises of God...the truth vs the lies?

Google all of the promises of God and see if they don't prove to be a weapon against the lies of our enemy.

"There is a lifting up of the head by elevating to office, as with Pharaoh's butler; this we trace to the divine appointment. There is a lifting up in honor after shame, in health after sickness, in gladness after sorrow, in restoration after a fall, in victory after a temporary defeat; in all these respects the Lord is the lifter up of our head." ~ Spurgeon
