The Drift

In this episode, we'll circle back to the discussion of the truth of your current condition and offer you an assessment that you can use for yourself to better understand where you are.

Then we're going to look at the great DRIFT. This is something we all do and we need to recognize in ourselves. Like a ship drifting at sea, if we aren't careful, we'll wind up in a place we never imagined.

The problem is the drift and the remedy is paying close attention to the truth of the Gospel.

Hebrews 2:1 - "Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it."

“We have to be continually reminded of what we believe. Neither this belief nor any other will automatically remain alive in your mind. It must be fed. And as a matter of fact, if you examined a hundred people who had lost their faith in Christianity, I wonder how many of them would turn out to have been reasoned out of it by honest argument? Do not most people simply drift away?”
